    10 pound for 10 journeys Medway

      Effective this school year September 2017, Arriva ( the bus provider for Medway) has terminated the 10 pound for 10 journey ticket. This ticket was incredibly valuable for students who lived on or near campus, as they were able to access the bus service for only one pound per journey. Now that this has terminated, students are looking at upwards of $4 pound per journey in the Medway Area, which is a significant rise, especially on a student budget. Can the student union lobby the University and Arriva to bring back the 10 pound for 10 journey for University of Medway students, as this was a vital asset for students travelling within the Medway region.

    9:10am on 31 Jan 18 Hey Lisa, Thank you for coming to the Annual Members Meeting in November, I am glad this has led to us working together now and that you are part of the Medway Student Council as well as the Union Development Council! Kent Union has also been working on the Arriva bus service and conducted a servey and GK Unions is currently finding out from the local council who is running the Arriva contract to see what options we have and what potential student deals we can agree on.
