      The SU is not very diverse. Not only is this Blatant among your staff with the lack of BAME employees but this is also very obvious with the societies you promote and those that barely get a whisper. I see huge differences in the budgets allocated for a sports society verses a society with BAME members. Why is this, When will this change and Who makes these decisions??

    9:02am on 31 Jan 18 Hey Abiola, Apologies for taking so long to get back to you, we've only managed to recently relaunch Change One Thing, previously no one had ownership over this system. We have discussed diversity at our Annual Members Meeting in November and Vivian, the Vice-President of Education and myself have been working with BAME Student Leaders as well as passing a motion through our Student Council which mandates the SU to make BAME Students and Black History Month a Union priority which led to a monthly meeting with BAME student leaders as a forum to discuss support, current structures etc. It would be great if you got involved with this group as well, I will send you an email to invite you and hopefully we can go for a coffee soon.
