We are the Paramedic Society, we aim to bring student paramedics and people interested in emergency and prehospital medicine together. We will be providing a variety of learning opportunities with some of the country's leading specialists, running social events where you can mingle with like-minded people and give you an opportunity to celebrate in style at the end of year ball!

Continued Professional Development

Continued professional development (CPD) is a requirement of the HCPC (the registering body for paramedics), it is also a requirement of many professions. CPD is simply about being able to evidence that you are continuing to learn to broaden or deepen your understanding of a range of topics.

For us, being the paramedic society, we will be focusing most of our CPD activities on pre-hospital care. We have many exciting activities that we are currently planning; and our aim is simple: to bring you subject specialists who are passionate about their practice to inspire you and improve your knowledge, confidence and, more importantly, your competence on a wide range of topics.

CPD events will be published on this page around a month in advance of them taking place. We will be updating you on our CPD events via our social media (that you can find at the top of the page!)

To make our CPD more accessible and work better around your busy schedule, we are making as many of our CPD sessions e-Learnings wherever possible. Unfortunately, not all sessions will be available as e-learning, so be sure to check the event details! e-Learning sessions will be made available through the e-Learning portal found in the "News" section.
