Suppliers and Clients Privacy Notice

Introduction
Greenwich Students' Union (SU) is the representative body of the students at the University of Greenwich. Our services and activities are also accessible by Union and University staff, and members of the general public. As part of our work, we collect and use data about people who access our activities, services and/or premises to ensure that we can offer the appropriate range of activities, services, support and experiences.
How we collect data about Suppliers and Clients
When you register as a supplier with the Students’ Union, we will fill out an internal New Supplier Checklist Form. We will collect this information directly from you via phone, email or postal correspondence, or through information in the public domain (e.g. your website).
When you register as a client with the Students’ Union, you will provide us with certain personal data. We will collect this information directly from you via phone, email or postal correspondence.
What data do we get?
As a supplier, the data we will collect includes and is not limited to:
- Name of sole trader/company
- Address sole trader/company
- Company Registration number (if applicable)
- Company VAT number (if applicable)
- Contact name (if company is being registered)
- Job title (if company is being registered)
- Email
- Telephone number
- Bank Details (to pay invoices)
As a client, the data we will collect includes and is not limited to:
- Name of sole trader/company
- Address sole trader/company
- Contact name
- Job title
- Email
- Telephone number
We will use this data to communicate with you, and administer transactions and contracts.
