Jabed, your GSU President, is leaving Greenwich Students’ Union for an amazing job opportunity with our home institution.

He will be joining the International Office at the University of Greenwich as Global Mobility Officer, helping to provide a range of support for incoming and outgoing study abroad students and incoming International students coming to study with the University of Greenwich in the UK.

Jabed says, “I got involved with GSU while was an Undergrad student as class rep, Society leader, Activities Committee member, and Green Ambassador. I am proud to be part of some the changes and organisational development over the last two years as GSU Officer and President.

I would like to thank the GSU staff team for all for the support you have given me during my time here. It was great to work with you all to improve student experience.”

Jabed’s last day is Friday 12th May; from Monday 15th May, Krishmi Karki will take over as President for the rest of the academic year. Anuj and Abdul in the GSU Officer team will be taking on some of Jabed’s work and responsibilities also. You can find out more about all the GSU Officers on their website page.
