We at Greenwich Students' Union unequivocally condemn the recent actions of far-right protesters that have caused violent disorder across the UK. These actions, rooted in intolerance, hatred and Islamophobia, are entirely contrary to the values we uphold as a union and as a community.

Greenwich Students' Union stands united in our commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming environment for all students. We will always champion the many cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives of our student body. Our strength lies in our diversity, and we are proud to welcome students and staff from around the world.

We remain steadfast in our support for every member of our community, ensuring that Greenwich and our surrounding communities are a safe and nurturing space for learning, growth, and solidarity. Hate and discrimination have no place here.

Let us continue to stand together, united against division, and work towards a future where every individual is respected and valued.
