Global Greenwich hosted its first multi-campus event on 28th October, seeing almost 100 International Students come together to socialise and eat pizza across all three campuses.

The Global Lunches were a chance for International Students to mingle, speak to Global Ambassadors, and meet with Greenwich Students' Union and University of Greenwich services, all in the casual settings of the Lower Deck, The Dome, and The Hub.

Jabed, your GSU Officer, was there to speak to students about their experience at Greenwich so far and ask about what they're looking forward to across Term 1.

He said: "It was fantastic to meet so many new and returning International Students back on campus and enjoying activities!"

Jabed continues: "Thanks to the team for running the event so smoothly and thank you to University stakeholders for joining us."

Be sure to keep an eye on our What's On page to find out when our next Global Greenwich event will be.

If you've got any suggestions for events and activities you would like to see for international students, then please email your ideas to Global@greenwich.ac.uk

Earlier this month a poll went out on the @LowerDeckGre Instagram account for the Global Greenwich pizza competition.Students could vote between three themed dishes. In the end, the India themed pizza was voted as the most popular idea. This will soon be introduced in the Lower Deck.

If you are an International Student who wants more support, you can find out information about Global Centres, student groups, and frequently asked questions on the Global Greenwich webpage.
