Introducing global greenwich image with flags

You may already know the Students’ Union exists to support all students to achieve their full potential at the University of Greenwich. But, we recognise that International students often have a lot more they need support with as they arrive at University. This could be a language barrier or applying for visas.

GSU and the University of Greenwich are proud to announce the launch of the Global Greenwich project.

Global has a physical and digital hub of information and events, run by GSU staff and working closely with University, to deliver an invaluable support network for Greenwich’s international student body.

Students will be able to access Global Greenwich across all three campuses, as well as through a digital hub on the GSU website.

Throughout the year, international students can look forward to one-off events and opportunities, ranging from cultural society meet and greets to English language workshops, and more.

We are excited to work with the University to deliver this fantastic project, which we hope will engage and support international students as they make the transition to life in the UK.

Look out for Global Ambassadors - these are students who will be available to help. We can help you to make use of services at the University and in the wider community.

You can find out more about Global Greenwich here.
