Cultural Fusion Night: A Celebration of Diversity and Connection

Join us for an unforgettable evening at Cultural Fusion Night, hosted by the Asian Student Union (ASU). This vibrant event is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Asia, featuring captivating performances, fun challenges, and delicious food from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and China.

What to Expect:

🌟 Performances:
Immerse yourself in the beauty of cultural expressions with live performances, including:

  • Nepali folk dances.
  • Indian classical and Bollywood-inspired acts.
  • Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet and cultural songs.
  • Pakistani Team Performance.

🎮 Games Section:
Participate in our thrilling Squid Game-inspired activities, where teams of five compete in fun, team-based challenges like:

  • Ddakji (Paper Tile Game).
  • Flying Stone (Stone Knockdown).
  • Gong-gi (Stone Picking).
  • Jegi (Shuttlecock Kick).
    Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams!

🍴 Food Buffet:
Enjoy a variety of authentic Asian dishes for just £3.50per person & £3  for society members, including:

  • Nepal: Momo (Dumplings).
  • Bangladesh: Jhalmuri, Fuchka (Puchka).
  • India: Vegetable Samosa, Chotpoti/Chaat.
  • China: Spring Roll.
    Drinks like water, soft drinks, and lassi will also be served.

📸 Photo Booth:
Capture memories at our themed photo booth and take part in group photos with your friends and the ASU team!
