March, with its gentle spring breeze and captivating interplay of light and shadow, invites you to a cultural feast across time and space. The Greenwich University Chinese Student Society proudly presents the Chinese Film Festival!

Four masterpieces, four unique perspectives, offering you a glimpse into the charm of Chinese cinema and the profound depth of Eastern culture.


🎬 Screening Schedule:

March 4th, Tuesday, 6 PM: "Send Me to the Clouds" (2019)
Director: Teng Congcong
A dark comedy from a female perspective, following a female journalist who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and confronting mortality after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.

March 11th, Tuesday, 6 PM: "Our Shining Days" (2017)
Director: Wang Ran
A vibrant and youthful musical drama about a group of passionate traditional Chinese music enthusiasts who break stereotypes and chase their dreams with courage and determination.

March 18th, Tuesday, 6 PM: "Someone to Talk To" (2016)
Director: Liu Yulin
Adapted from Liu Zhenyun's novel, this film tells a love story spanning half a century, portraying the struggles and fate of ordinary people amidst the tides of history.

March 25th, Tuesday, 6 PM: "Office" (2015)
Director: Johnnie To
A workplace black comedy that exposes the intrigues, power struggles, and冷暖人情 of corporate life, leaving audiences with much to reflect upon.
