Alisa Khatiwada
Meet Alisa, a second year Public Health student from the Greenwich campus. Last year, Alisa was the Programme Rep for her degree programme, the President of Nepali Society, and a GSU Campus Activator at the Avery Hill campus.
Three things Alisa loves about Greenwich: location of the campus, working at GSU, and attending Global Greenwich events.

Ines Rahy
Say hi to Ines! A third year Computer Science (Data Science) student from the Greenwich campus, she was a student staff member of GSU’s Retention team as their Support and Wellbeing Assistant last year.
Three things Ines loves about Greenwich: The ability to have a positive impact on her peers and surroundings through her role of Support and Wellbeing Assistant. Ines enjoyed the University’s Student Ambassador scheme, as well as Volleyball sports sessions.

Priya Garg
Our third Welcome Executive member is Priya. She is a Digital Marketing and Analytics student from the University of Kent, based at the Medway campus. During the 2023/24 academic year, she was a student staff member of GSU’s Medway campus’s Engagement and Opportunities team as their Engagement and Opportunities Team Leader.
Three things Priya loves about Greenwich: The inclusive environment GSU creates for all its students, plus GSU’s very own Give It A Go and badminton sessions.
Favourite Welcome memory: Treasure hunt in the ball pit.
Syed Taabish Ali
Say hello to Taabish! He is a Data Science student from the Greenwich campus. He was the Programme Rep of his degree course and a member of the Greenwich Islamic Society in the 2023/24 academic year.
Three things Syed loves about Greenwich: The diverse culture at Greenwich, part-time job opportunities available for students and the graceful attitude of staff members.
Favourite Welcome memory: The Welcome Fair had a lot of important services available for International students. It helped Syed to register with the GP and create a UK bank account.
