About varsity

 

Varsity. The biggest sporting event of the year. For many of you, this might be your first Varsity, so here’s what you can expect.

Team Greenwich and Team South Bank will compete again in a series of fixtures for the title of Varsity Champions. 

There will be indoor and outdoor matches, recreational sport and activities, food and drinks and of course an after party!

Avery Hill Campus

Avery Hill is the home of Team Greenwich. The £1.7m multi-purpose, flood lit, all-weather pitches will host our festival of sport. There will be a variety of activity on campus throughout the day across the campus, including in The Dome, outdoor food and drink stalls and more! Let’s send Varsity 2025 out with a bang!

We will be taking over Wavey Wednesday at the Lower Deck for the night to celebrate Varsity and all of the great activity from the day.

Check out the University of Greenwich’s bus schedule for shuttle bus times between Greenwich and Avery Hill campus. There will be an extra stop at Blackheath RFC for our Varsity final, as well as extra buses in the evening to get you to the After party!
