Education for Sustainability

Sustainability Researcher

We are recruiting student Sustainability Researchers to complete sustainability assessments of undergraduate programmes. Each Researcher will be fully trained through a 1 hour workshop and will receive a £5 research grant for every programme assessed.

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)

ESD is the process of equipping students with the knowledge and understanding, skills and attributes needed to work and live in a way that safeguards environmental, social and economic wellbeing, both in the present and for future generations. (QAA ESD guidance, 2014) The University of Greenwich Sustainability Policy aims to “actively encourage and support the teaching of and research into sustainable development in the university”.
