Whether you are an Events Management student, part of Greenwich Business School, or just a student interested in events, we invite you to get involved with the Events Society! 

In the Events Society you can learn, gain valuable knowledge and engage with opportunities within the events industry during and after your studies. Alongside our fantastic socials, we will be holding panels and networking events to give you an opportunity to interact with events industry professionals. Our society is open to all and hopes to create a welcoming community.

Our Core Aims:

•     Supporting Academic Success and Well-being: Our society is committed to supporting students throughout their studies, with a focus on well-being through a variety of exciting social and academic events to boost both learning and personal development.
•     Academic and Professional Development for Event Management Students: We aim to provide academic events and resources tailored for Event Management students, including workshops, guest lectures, and networking opportunities, to build relevant skills and industry connections.
•     Creating Connections and Building Friendships: We believe in building a strong community by encouraging students to meet, connect, and establish lasting friendships through various on-campus activities and events.
•     Organizing Inclusive and Accessible On-Site Activities: We ensure that all on-campus events are inclusive and accessible, offering students of all backgrounds the chance to participate, learn, and contribute to the society.
•     Empowering Leadership and Teamwork: By providing opportunities to get involved in planning and organizing, we help students to develop leadership and teamwork skills that are essential in both the events industry and other.
