The Intercultural Peace Society is your gateway to making a real impact at Greenwich University and beyond. We’re a student-led organisation that empowers you to go beyond interest and get involved in projects that foster intercultural understanding, build bridges between communities, and promote lasting peace.

What We Do [Turning Interest Into Action]
We combine intellectual discussions, cultural activities, and hands-on volunteering to help turn ideas into reality. Our activities range from forums on peace philosophies [EVERY FRIDAY], charity and volunteering projects to fun cultural events [EVERY MONTH] like fashion shows and games. Through these, we help raise awareness, challenge preconceptions and encourage mutual respect among students from all backgrounds.

Here’s what you can expect as a member:

• Engage in Thoughtful Conversations: Through regular forums, workshops, and discussions, we create a space for open and respectful conversations, breaking down cultural barriers and fostering mutual understanding.
• Develop Leadership Skills: We cultivate the next generation of leaders by engaging students in meaningful discussions and hands-on projects that focus on peacebuilding and social impact.
• Get Involved in Cultural and Charity Projects: From community service initiatives to cultural exchange programs, we partner with local, national, and international organisations to turn values into action.
• Educational Resources: We provide educational materials and organise programmes that increase awareness about cultural diversity, peacebuilding strategies, and conflict resolution.
